The flight from New York was totally uneventful. We left on time, had good tailwinds and despite some circling and waiting for gates, we arrived on time. The luggage was on the carousel before we got there and the wait for Hertz was short. The weather here is fabulous, probably won’t last. We drove down to Emsworth to Sue Allen Dudman’s house where we will stay for the next few days. The village is a cute, “typical” English village. He house is on a short street that runs from the village to the mill pond. The mill no longer exists, but the pond does.
Now is it full most of the year with duck and swans. At the
end of Sue’s street, there is a rather graphic sign depicting what might happen if you went too far. Brian and Paul are coming over for dinner. Tomorrow, we are all supposed to go sightseeing. Hope the weather cooperates.

Glad you are having a relaxing day.
Does that mean that Maxine is feeling better?
